2 miles west of Dornie on A87 and 5 miles east of Kyle of Lochalsh. Overlooks Eilean Donan Castle, Rattigan (over Loch Alsh) and eastern part of Skye. - in other words a superb location!

The road to Ardelve (the main road from Invergarry and Invermoriston) takes you past Loch Cluanie, the Seven Sisters of Kintail, the Kintail Lodge Hotel and Loch Duich, through Glen Shiel with Glen Affric Forest to the north - a famous hiding area for Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1746.

Balmacara Gardens operated by the National Trust for Scotland lie 4 miles west.
