Ardentinny

Scotland > West of Scotland > Argyll > Ardentinny

On the west side of Loch Long on A880 in the Cowal Peninsula. Access is, from the central belt, mainly by way of the Dunoon ferries then round the Holy Loch and through Kilmun and Strone. There is another route from the Whistlefield Hotel on Loch Eck through Glen Finart.

Artentinny is a small peaceful village with many of the houses being built in the late 19th and early 20th century by successful businessmen of Glasgow and the central belt. The village overlooks Coulport on the Rosneath Peninsula.

yesscotland.com says:
Ideal location for a short break or long weekend for people in the Scottish central belt, being close to Glasgow but just far enough away not to be affected by it.
