Between Inverness and Nairn, close to Fort George (1 mile) and to Inverness Airport (2 miles).

Former fishing village on shores of Inverness Firth overlooking Fortrose (and its golf course on the promitory) and Rosemarkie in the Black Isle. For the past 30 years has been better known for the oil industry constrution yard which is, actually a few miles away!

Has an hotel (Gun Lodge) and pub (Star) and a few B&Bs.
