YesScotland.com : Lennoxlove The beautiful house of Lennoxlove, in East Lothian's woodlands, is a mile south of Haddington with views to the Lammermuir Hills.

The oldest parts of the House were built before 1400. It started out as a rectangular keep with walls up to eleven feet thick. Originally called Lethington and was the home of the Maitland family.

In 1912 Major William Baird commissioned the famous Scottish architect Sir Robert Lorimer to refurbish the House.

The 14th Duke of Hamilton acquired the house in 1946. Throughout the year the house is open for guided tours. The estate is used for corporate events, business meetings, organised activity weekends and weddings.
