Mallaig

Located on the north western coast of Morar, Mallaig looks out over the Sound of Sleat to the Isle of Skye. The starting port for many a visitor to the Isles and has a link between Ullapool and Oban. Car ferries link Mallaig and Armadale on Skye and with the little islands of Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna. It's the Highland mainline end of the scenic West Highland Railway Line. The village has fishing and a lively centre with pubs restaurants and most services.
