Aultnamain Inn

Scotland > Highland Counties > Ross and Cromarty > Aultnamain Inn

This whole "settlement" consists of the former staging inn which is situated nearly at the top of the hill which used to be (until recently) the short cut route north to Bonar Bridge, except in winter when snow could cause problems!

This road, the B9176 is now a noted cycle route and the views over the Dornoch Firth towards Dornoch, up the east coast and across to Tarbat Ness are outstanding.
