Located 1 mile south of Blairmore, off the A815, with great views across the Holy Loch to Hunters Quay. It developed in the Victorian age as a holiday destination, with large mansions and merchants holiday homes, giving the wealthy class of Glasgow respite from the smoke and grime that was Glasgow at that time.
