

SymingtonScotland > South of Scotland > Ayrshire > Symington Symington was originally a weavers village built in the 18th Century and centred around the 12th century parish church. It is located north east of Prestwick and to the south east of Kilmarnock in South Ayrshire. Noted for its rows of weavers cottages which radiate from the central church, it is also the site of the ruins of the 15th century Craigie Castle the one time home of the Wallaces of Craigie. ![]() |
