North Ronaldsay is a small island, 4 miles in length, situated at the northernmost end of the Orkney Isles. Near to Fair Isle, it can just be seen from the shores of North Ronaldsay.

The island attracts large numbers and varieties of migrant birds and has a wide variety of habitats including reed-beds and scrub.
