Bonnybridge

Scotland > Central Scotland > Stirlingshire > Bonnybridge

4 miles west of Falkirk on the A803, Bonnybridge was built up in the mid 19th century through iron, paper and saw mills. Like so many towns in the 1980s, many of these industries closed and the town is now in a process or re-discovery.

Near to Antonine's wall and Roman Rough Castle in particular.
