Bonnyrigg

3 miles (10 km) south west of Dalekith on the A6094 road. Coal mining helped to establish the town and after that closed in 1924 a carpet factory became the main source of employment. Unfortunately, that also closed in 1994.

Bonnyrigg is now seen as being part of Lasswade.
