Lochgilphead

Scotland > West of Scotland > Argyll > Lochgilphead

At the top of Loch Gilp which itself is a part of Loch Fyne, this is the "county" town of Argyll and the location of the local authority headquarters. Also used to be an important inshore fishing port along with its near neighbour Ardrishaig which lies at the eastern end of the Crinan Canal.
