Cumnock

A small town on the old A76 Kilmarnock to Dumfries road it was founded on iron, mining and manufacturing. The Lugar Water runs through the town. The scottish labour hero, Kier Hardie lived here and is commerated by a bust in the town. Mainline Rail Station, with connections south.
