Fairlie

A small village on the North Ayrshire coast, with fine views accross the Firth of Cyde to the Cumbraes and Arran. Just a few miles south of Largs. It boasts a 16th century Tower House. Mainline rail station.
Kelburn Castle and country park, home of the Earls of Glasgow, is just over a mile from Fairlie.
yesscotland.com says: Although the site of a major deep water ore terminal, the landscaping and screening means it does not intrude on one of the nicest views in this part of Scotland.
Fine dinning and crafts are to be found nearby, with a local farmers market held adjacent.
