Findochty

Findochty is a holiday resort and fishing town in Moray, posititioned between Buckie and Cullen. In 1716 Thomas Ord apparently imported 13 men and 4 boys to become fishermen and the town propered through its fishing abilities until modern times. Today the harbour is mostly used by the leisure industry. The 1863, Gothic Church used to act as a beacon for local fishermen.
