Garmouth

Now a village about one mile from the sea it once was a sea port and had a large timber trade in the export of old caledonian forest tree trunks floated down the Spey from Ruthiemurchus forest. King Charles lI landed here from Holland in 1650 and signed his name to Solemn League and Covenant.
